NEUROMAYA MEANING

The Hindu word Maya means Cosmic illusion. Maya is the power in creation by which limitations and divisions seem to exist in the Oneness that is true reality. 

​

In essence you don't see things the way they are. You see them according to your own perspective and convenience. You see things according to how they fit in your emotional needs. most people are so identified with the roles they play and their beliefs that they don't see anything beyond it.

NEUROMAYA Institute for inner studies is dedicated to the realization of one’s true self.  

​

It teaches how to cultivate the necessary awareness to address the inner wellbeing of human beings, the essential core of who we are. Freeing ourselves from Maya is the essence of the spiritual path, regardless of which religion one belongs to.

The importance of cultivating awareness:

The word awareness simply means knowledge or perception of a situation or fact. 

​

Desire is the basis of life. In the process of living, everyone is making choices based off their innermost desires, but choices made in unawareness are compulsions and most human beings are compulsively desiring without knowing what they are actually looking for. 

 

"...Imagine you get angry right now. It is actually your choice to be angry. Somewhere, you believe that is the way to handle the situation, and not a choice at all. However, it is! The truth is that the decision was made in such unawareness that it becomes an unconscious reaction. The person feels powerlessly angry without the awareness that they could choose otherwise..."

This is happening all the time on a background level. So, people are living by choice, but choices being made without awareness, become compulsiveness.
